The issue of unreliable power supply was central to Hon Aro’s engagement with the community, and he promised to prioritize their needs once in office.

“True to his words, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun began working on the facilitation of a new transformer for the community shortly after receiving news of the transformer’s failure. However, the process of securing the equipment through formal channels required time, leading to months of anticipation and growing frustration among residents.

“Yesterday, representatives of the Ilado-Inu Community Development Association (CDA) met with Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun to share their continued struggle and appeal for urgent intervention. Moved by their plight and the hardships they had endured, Hon. Abiodun demonstrated compassion and decisive leadership by personally purchasing a new transformer for the community.

The swift action ensured that the transformer was delivered to the community today (Wednesday), marking the end of a long period of suffering. “The wellbeing of my people is my priority. I promised to deliver and I will continue to do so. Ilado-Inu deserves stable power supply, and I am glad we could resolve this issue without further delay.”

The installation and commissioning of the transformer are expected to follow shortly, bringing sustainable electricity to the community and reigniting economic and social activities. The action by Hon. Abiodun serves as a testament to the power of responsive and empathetic leadership, rekindling hope among the people of Ilado-Inu.

The intervention for the residents represents a renewed trust in leadership and the promise of better days ahead.
